20th Build Asia: How We Turned an Expo Into a Marketing Opportunity

At an expo with 725 booths, being present isn't enough.

When thousands of people are walking through the same exhibition floor, every brand is competing for a few seconds of attention. The real challenge isn't getting people to see your booth. It's giving them a reason to stop, engage, and remember you after they leave.

That was exactly the challenge we approached with Adamjee DuraBuilt at the 20th Build Asia Expo 2026 in Lahore.

What Made Build Asia 2026 So Important

Held from 6 - 8 August 2026 at Expo Center Lahore, Build Asia brought together a huge number of business professionals from across the construction industry.

According to the Pakistan Economic Survey 2025-26, Pakistan's construction sector grew by 5.73% in FY2026, contributing 2.35% to the country's GDP.

As the industry continues to grow, so does the need for construction and building materials brands to stay visible and differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive market.

This year's numbers alone tell you something about the scale:

  • 61,364 visitors
  • 612 companies
  • 725 booths
  • 22 countries represented

As a major construction exhibition, Build Asia brought together much more than construction companies. The event also featured Stonefair Asia, Property Asia, Wood & Furniture Asia, and the CPEC Construction Expo, creating a space where professionals from construction, architecture, property, interiors, and building materials could connect.

For businesses operating in the construction industry in Pakistan, an event of this scale is a valuable opportunity to meet potential clients, partners, and industry professionals under one roof.

But it also comes with a challenge: everyone is fighting for attention.

A Room Full of Leaders

Adamjee DuraBuilt wasn't the only established name at the exhibition.

The event brought together companies from construction, engineering, building materials, interiors, and related industries, including:

  • Popular Pipes Group of Companies
  • ACME Engineering
  • Robust Construction Chemicals
  • Dadex
  • Alpha Pipe Industries
  • Niazi Group of Construction
  • AFCO Steel Industries
  • Dura Pro Construction Chemicals
  • Master Sanitary Ware
  • Roxx Ceramica

and many more.

With so many businesses showcasing their products and capabilities in one place, simply having a booth wasn't enough.

This is where exhibition branding becomes important.

Your booth has to attract attention. Your messaging has to communicate quickly. And every interaction should reinforce your brand visibility.

Standing Out Was the Real Challenge

Walk into any large expo, and you'll see the same thing happening. Every company has a booth. Every booth has branding. Every brand has brochures, product displays, and people ready to talk about what they do.

After a while, it all starts to blend.

That's why we didn't look at Adamjee DuraBuilt's participation as simply an event where we needed to "set up a booth."

We looked at it as a brand experience.

The question became: How can we make every interaction with Adamjee DuraBuilt feel connected?

That meant looking beyond the booth and thinking about everything a visitor might see before, during, and after the event.

Adamjee DuraBuilt: Building Brand Experience

Adamjee DuraBuilt participated as a Silver Sponsor, giving the brand a strong presence at one of the country's major construction exhibitions.

Our role was to handle the complete marketing presence around the event.

That included;

  • Booth design
  • Brochure design
  • Social Media Content
  • Event Photography
  • Overall event marketing

Each piece had a different job, but each one had to tell the same story because good B2B marketing doesn’t stop at a sales conversation. It starts with how people discover you, how they experience your brand, and what they remember afterwards.

It All Started with the Booth

The booth was naturally the first thing people would interact with. So, it needed to do more than display a logo.

It needed to create a space where the brand could be seen clearly, products could be presented properly, and visitors could comfortably stop, interact, and have a conversation.

The design had to balance two things: Visibility and brand identity.

In a hall filled with hundreds of exhibitors, the booth needed to catch attention without losing the look and feel of Adamjee DuraBuilt.

This is one of the key elements of a good trade show marketing strategy. Your booth is often the first physical interaction someone has with your business, so it needs to make sense immediately.

What Comes After the Booth

An expo doesn't only happen offline anymore.

People discover events through social media. They see brands participating before they arrive. They follow updates while the event is happening. And afterwards, they see photos and videos of what they missed.

That is why social media marketing became an important part of Adamjee DuraBuilt's expo presence.

We used content to extend the brand's participation beyond the exhibition floor and create visibility around what was happening at the booth.

Capturing the Experience

Our photography captured more than just the booth. We wanted to document the people, products, interactions, and atmosphere around the brand.

Because event photography shouldn't just answer, "What did the booth look like?"

It should answer: "What was it like to be there?"

Those visuals also gave the brand content that could continue to be used after the event.

Do The Brochures Still Matter

With so much happening digitally, it's easy to forget how useful a well-designed brochure can be at an industry expo.

Someone might have a five-minute conversation at the booth, collect information from several companies, and return to their office with a handful of brochures.

That piece of communication becomes the thing they refer back to later.

For Adamjee DuraBuilt, the brochure was therefore another part of the brand experience, not just something to hand out.

The design, information, and overall presentation needed to work alongside the booth and digital content.

Taking The Expo to Social Media

One of the biggest advantages of modern B2B expo marketing strategies is that your audience doesn't have to physically attend the event to experience your participation.

Social media gave us a way to take what was happening at the booth and put it in front of a much larger audience.

The event content helped showcase:

  • Adamjee DuraBuilt's participation
  • The booth and brand presence
  • Products and displays
  • Interactions at the event
  • The overall energy of Build Asia

This meant the brand could continue talking about its participation even after the exhibition doors closed.

Why We Looked at Everything as One Story

This was probably the most important part of the entire project.

We didn't want the booth to look one way, the brochure another, and the social media completely different.

Everything had to feel like it belonged to the same brand.

Think about the journey of a potential customer.

They might:

See a social media post → visit the booth → speak to the team → pick up a brochure → see event photos later.

That's several different touchpoints, but from the customer's perspective, it should still feel like one brand experience. That's the difference between simply doing event marketing and actually building a brand presence around an event.

What Construction Brands Can Learn from This

Build Asia 2026 was a good reminder that marketing in the construction industry in Pakistan isn't only about showcasing products; it's also about how you present the business behind those products.

For brands participating in expos, a few things are worth thinking about:

  • Don't design the booth in isolation.
  • Think about what people will see before they reach the booth.
  • Give visitors something useful to take away.
  • Capture the event properly instead of letting the content disappear.
  • Keep your visual identity consistent across every touchpoint.
  • Continue the conversation after the expo ends.

Because the real value of an exhibition isn't limited to the three days.

From Three Days to Something That Lasts

For Adamjee DuraBuilt, Build Asia Expo 2026 wasn't simply about having a presence at a major construction exhibition; it was an opportunity to bring the brand closer to its audience.

From the booth people walked into, to the brochure they took home, to the photographs and social media content they saw online, every element played a role in shaping that experience.

And that's how we approached the project at Artxpro.

Not as a booth project. Not as a social media project. Not as a photography project, but as a complete brand experience.

As a digital marketing agency in Pakistan, we know that B2B brands often have complex products and a long sales cycle. That makes consistent branding and clear communication even more important.

An expo gives you the audience; your branding gives them a reason to remember you.

Final Thoughts

Build Asia 2026 showed us that an expo is more than a space to display your products. It is an opportunity to put your brand in front of the right people and create a lasting impression. For Adamjee DuraBuilt, bringing the booth, content, photography, brochures, and social media together helped turn three days of exhibition presence into a complete brand experience. And that is what good B2B marketing should do: make your brand seen, understood, and remembered.
